1. Supports Product Categories/Catalogs.
2. Each product may have many variants/packings each having it's own variant name price and discount etc. This is very helpful feature that keeps your product catalog from cluttering up. For example, a product such as hair oil may have various packing such as 250 ml., 500 ml. etc, each having special price. So a user may first click on a product first then he/she may choose a suitable packing from the drop down list. and the corresponding price gets displayed. Another example may be of a car that comes in various colors, each having a different price.
3. Each item (product variant or packing) may have its own discount. Two types of discounts are supported - Fixed amount discount and Percentage based discount. So you may sell an item 10% off the list price and another 2.5$ off.
4. Provides full flexibility at the time of implementation, leading to fast, error-free implementation of business logic.
5. Supports pictures along with the name and description of a product.
6. Supports "Featured" Concept. You can make products of your choice as featured items. These will be displayed on the home page.
7. Supports "Role based Login" system. So that each authenticated user can perform only the tasks allowed to him.
